Rules of the Game

Many of the descriptions in "Rules of the Game" capture the flavor of life in San Francisco's Chinatown. Write a description of an area of place in your life that has a particular flavor or atmosphere. You might describe the main street of your hometown, the neighborhood in which you live, or the grounds of Eaglebrook. Include details that will give your reader a vivid picture of the setting and a sense of its atmosphere.

At the end of the story Waverly’s opponent is her mind. She has to learn how to control her minds desires to act conceited and powerful. This is going metaphorically against the wind. Or go with the wind which in return will earn her more praises and make her a better person, humble her. At the end of the story, I think that Waverly captured her mind and stopped it from wondering down the wrong path. She realized what she had been doing wrong. She realized that she had been going against what she had biased her life off of; the power of the wind.

Adam, Please write a piece that tells about the the "flavor" or your home town. Tell me about where you are from. Use your five senses to describe the area...sound, sight, smell, touch, taste.
